Most chartplotters have a GPS receiver built in, but an external antenna with a clear view of the sky gives a more reliable and accurate position, especially from inside a steel or aluminium wheelhouse. In this video I install a Raymarine GA150 antenna, so we can accurately mark the likely spots to search for a lost anchor on a dive. I also finish wiring the side lights.
