About

There are only a handful of knots you really need on a boat, but it helps to know which one suits each job. In this video I go through the bowline, clove hitch, round turn and two half hitches, highwayman's hitch, anchor hitch, sheet bend and a few ways of tying off to a cleat. As well as tying them, I show some short cuts for tying them quickly and how to get them undone again.
